I'd wanted to join a bookgroup for ages - mostly after hearing the uproarious noise from when my mother's group was in residence. I also needed to get over my fear of reading novels. I saw an ad for one and joined reckoning it would also do me good to meet some new people out of my normal circle of friends. Its taken a while but I spent last night discussing Magnus Mills The Restraint of Beasts - a Withnail & I like black comedic book.
